Malabar Mulled Wine
Mulled wine is a holiday season classic. Turn up the tastiness with our Malabar Mulled Wine recipe, and indulge in the tastes of Christmas.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle Cabernet Sauvignon
- 1/2 cup Malabar Spiced Liqueur
- 1/4 cup Brandy
- 3 cups Apple Cider
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 3 sticks Cinnamon
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 4 pieces Star Anise
- 1 tsp Cloves
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 Lemon sliced
- 1 Orange (Small) sliced
- Cranberries garnish
Instructions
- Combine the wine, Malabar, brandy, apple cider, honey, cinnamon, vanilla, star anise, cloves, and nutmeg in a large pot on medium low heat.
- Heat for 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
- When ready to serve, ladle into heat-resistant glasses and add a spoonful of your sliced fruit.
- Serve hot.
