Malabar Vanilla Sauce
Ingredients- 2 tbsp Malabar Spiced Liqueur - 1 cup half and half- 1/2 cup sugar, divided- 1 tsp vanilla extract- 4 egg yolks- 2 tbsp melted butter- Fresh berries to tasteInstructionsIn a large saucepan, combine Malabar Spiced Liqueur, half and half, 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla extract. Heat until almost to a boil. While the cream mixture is cooking, whisk egg yolks with melted butter and 1/4 cup sugar. Remove the cream mixture from the heat and whisk in the egg yolk mixture vigorously. Add back to heat and cook, stirring often, for an addition 3-4 minutes or until thickened. Serve over fresh berries.
